The Inner Circle Engagement Guidelines

1. Purpose & Mission

The Inner Circle brings together industry leaders from across the multifamily real estate ecosystem including  property owners, property managers, and  technology founders with the shared goal of accelerating innovation in the multifamily real estate industry.

Our mission is to:

  • Build a Coalition for Change: Leverage the diverse perspectives of all stakeholders to identify actionable best practices and overcome barriers.

  • Shape the Future of Multifamily Tech: Drive industry-wide improvements in how technology solutions are designed, introduced, evaluated, and implemented, ensuring that innovations benefit teams, residents, and operational workflows alike.

  • Foster Collaborative Dialogue: Create an open environment where participants can share insights, successes, and challenges without the pressure of sales or competitive advantage.

2. Guiding Principles

All participants commit to upholding the following core principles:

  • Open & Honest Sharing: Engage in candid dialogue that includes both success stories and challenges. Transparency fosters trust and accelerates learning.

  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Respect proprietary information and absolutely refrain from sharing sensitive data, trade secrets, or internal competitive strategies.

  • Actionable Problem-Solving: Focus discussions on industry-wide challenges and opportunities and the practical steps needed to tackle them.

  • Community Building: Recognize that while participants may represent competing organizations, our shared goal is to elevate the multifamily industry. Our combined expertise is our greatest asset.

Note: This is not a sales forum. Discussions will center on industry-wide challenges and best practices—not on promoting specific technologies or competitive advantages.

3. Event Outcomes & Next Steps

Following the roundtable, our shared insights will be synthesized into a co-authored industry resource that captures:

  • Key Insights: Actionable strategies and best practices emerging from our open dialogue.

  • Real-World Examples: Quotes, case studies, and testimonials that highlight both the challenges and successes of tech adoption in multifamily.

  • Future Roadmap: Thoughtful recommendations for ongoing collaboration and innovation across the industry.

This resource will be distributed to inform and inspire stakeholders, reflecting the open, intersecting perspectives of The Inner Circle—a space where diverse ideas come together to drive progress and shape the future of multifamily real estate.
